FSL Lubricant Division was appointed as the Sole stockists and distributors for the CASTROL brand of Marine Lubricants in UAE with effective from November, 1988. FSL purchased a custom made lube oil tanker to supply bulk lubricants to transiting vessels off Fujairah, covering the range between Khorfakhan and Kalba anchorages with effective from March, 1998.

In the year 2000, CASTROL were bought over by BP (British Petroleum). As of 2004, our vessel FSL PRIDE was chartered by BP and both the brands i.e. CASTROL and BP's bulk and packed products were supplied to their various nominated clients. The volumes handled by our vessel averaged 1.8 million liters per month.

In the year 2006, BP found our vessel on the small side and thus opted out of the charter. Ever since that time the vessel FSL PRIDE is chartered to another major oil company. Foreseeing a new legislation for Double hull, double skin tankers.

FSL has already ordered a new tanker which is presently under construction and expected to be delivered in February, 2008. This will be a 650 ton tanker with a speed of 12 knots.

Again due to BP's organizational requirements, FSL are now appointed as re-seller's for the CASTROL brand of marine lubricants and in this capacity, FSL lubricant division controls a sale of approx.1.95 million liters per annum.
